Opportunity

Globally competitive P/C insurance software vendors, expanding their offering to meet the specialist needs of Lloyd’s and Company Market Underwriters and Coverholders.

Leveraging an already well established cloud, enterprise platform (PAS, Claims, Billings), the focus is on rightsizing and enhancing the product to meet the challenges of the London Market.

Of particular importance, is the need to address the impact and recommendations of Blueprint2, and specifically, to embed messaging tooling, working with Xchanging and to ACCORD standards.

Candidates without this experience cannot be considered for the role.

The role

– operate at a Senior / Lead Business Analyst level, working on PRODUCT ROADMAP

– bring understanding of the role of Lloyd’s coverholders and specific requirements aligned to delegated authority

– reflect prior experience working at London Market level, with an understanding of the imminent and ongoing changes to messaging and data management (ECOT EBOT CDR)

– play a key role in analyzing and shaping the product to address the Market-led digital reforms

– interface with technical teams, business, and external stakeholders

– work across the full SDLC , on an iterative (Agile) basis, to meet core product build deadlines

Who is the optimal fit for the role

This is a specialist Business Analyst/ Product Analyst role, and accordingly candidates MUST meet the following requirements

1. Have gained specialist P/C Insurance software product development experience (vendor or consultancy ideally)

2. Have worked within the London Insurance Market, and have an established understanding of coverholders and delegated authority, Blueprint2 implications for messaging and data exchange

3. Exhibit strong capability in full lifecycle software roadmap developement, typically working in a techno-functional environment, across different levels of the business

4. Ideally – have worked on CoverHolder Workbench projects, identifying the specific needs at DA level

5. Be a strong communicator, able to influence and guide more junior BAs
