In this role, working for a highly reputable London Market InsurTech, you will form part of a high performing agile squad where, alongside the Data Engineering Manager and Principal Product Manager, you will lead the gathering of requirements for a data platform. Your solutions will be critical to our data and analytics domain and to the continued success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a data subject matter expert for our new data platform, supporting business users and IT colleagues.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and document them at an appropriate level. Once agreed then translate these into stories and tasks for development.
- Utilise specialist knowledge and experience of business areas, products and systems to ensure effective and innovative technical solution design.
- Work with QA colleagues to support the robust testing of changes.
- Plan and facilitate requirements elicitation sessions such as workshops and 1-to-1 interviews.
- Conduct system prototype demonstrations to validate requirements.
- Assist the digital product manager in facilitating the prioritisation of business requirements.
Key Experience:
- General and London Market Insurance domain experience.
- Must have excellent Property and casualty (P&C) insurance domain experience
- Must have good P&C insurance domain experience in recent project/Companies
- Must have hands on SQL experience.
- Experienced in defining data lineage from source systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence others to improve processes and application quality
